Yi Hwi is the son of the late Emperor Jin Hyul and Empress Ahn Young. He and his guardian Yi Jeok escaped the palace as Yoon Yeon Lee attempted to assassinate him, but leaving his mother murdered. Ten years later, they established a rebel army against the current government and Imperial Family. In the morning, he is a gisaeng named Nabi, and goes by the alias Crimson Moon in the night. He is also an artist under the pseudonym "Hong" who uses a red thumbmark as his trademark. He later develops deeper feelings with Yoo Dan Ah who he remembered as the girl who went into Bi Hwa Rim ten years ago. Unfortunately, Dan Ah mistook him for his half-brother Yi Won. As "Hong", he is considered a "friend" of Yi Won.
